In 1908, Bacus was born in Lunéville, in the cradle of hand embroidery. It was already supplying the first Parisian fashion houses with crochet embroidery embellished with pearls, stones and sequins (the first in gelatine).
The know-how is enriched and opens up to other trades. There will be the resumption of the activities of Cornélia, specialist in Cornély embroidery, of Dentelles Laurence and Novotex for bobbin lace from Le Puy, of Coutier, renowned for lingerie and corsetry, Dorieux, for all the work of metal braids, the archives of the Souffre house and passementerie from the Ardèche.
